Kakashi Vs Itachi, who's better

Kakashi Vs Itach

I believe Itachi is definitely stronger than Kakashi, but I'm not here to talk about who's stronger. I'm comparing the two of them from the aspects of intelligence, brilliance and just potential generally.

Kakashi's History
Kakashi was born into the hatake clan, a very minor clan that's not mentioned much. His father is Sakumo aka Konoha's white fang,  a very powerful and famous ninja known throughout the shinobi world. His father committed suicide when kakashi was 9.

Kakashi became a genin at 5, a chunin at 6 and a jounin at 10, he also created his first jutsu, the chidori at 10. He's the youngest jounin konoha has had.

I believe Kakashi should be a lot more powerful than he is in Naruto. It's like he stopped progressing all of a sudden. To me, the strength difference between kakashi at 10 and Kakashi now is not much, he only has better reflexes and maybe several new copied jutsu. 

Itachi's History 

Itachi was born into the Uchiha clan, the greatest clan at the time of his birth. His father was the head of the clan and his mother was best friends with naruto's mom, Kushina.

Itachi was the genius of the Uchiha clan, he is one of the greatest heroes in Naruto,  since a young age all he cared for was peace, this eventually lead to his massacre of his clan, which he did as a loyal ninja of konoha. He only left his brother, Sasuke alive.

Itachi is one of the saddest characters in the story, he had to murder his entire clan and live life as a rogue ninja hated by everyone, he lived the rest of his life sad and alone and was seen as heartless criminal. I believe he's one of the greatest characters in all anime. 

Itachi became a genin at 6, a chunin at 10 after which he joined ANBU. He became an ANBU captain at 13, making him the youngest ANBU captain. His main power came from his use of the mangekyo sharingan.

Kakashi is a genius, he learnt the rasengan from minato and used it to make the chidori. I believe kakashi should be as strong as itachi, it's just that his teammates deaths disoriented him. He stopped training and only took missions nonstop. Taking missions hones his skills, gives him better reflexes and others but can't really make him better.

Itachi has always been good, he was a genius from the start and continued to get stronger throughout the series. He's main form of attack was gengutsu, fire style techniques and shurikenjutsu.
